Do you see any crash id getting generated under chrome://crashes. Please attach the same here. Also, please let us know if the crash is consistent or intermittent or crashes in incognito mode as well?
chrome://crashes says "Crash reporting is disabled. Crash reporting is not available in Chromium."

It does happen in incongnito, and it is consistently happening every time for certain webpages.

Where you downloaded the Chromium from?

Ubuntu S/W center(on Ubuntu 14.04) still gives me 49.0.2623.108 to download the Chromium.
It's from apt-get (sid).

Happy to say that after updating to 50.0.2661.75-2 the crash seems to have gone away.

Will update this if I encounter it again, so far so good.

Closing this, since the crash appears to be fixed. I should have mentioned this earlier, but the OOM score failures should be non-fatal and unrelated to the crash.
