Chrome not responding issue

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open gmail and login 
2. now click attach file option and drag files 
3. try to close attachments 

What is the expected behavior?
should close

What went wrong?
says as 'chrome not responding

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.75  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

I was able to reproduce the hang on Windows-8.1, chrome version(50.0.2661.75) and the latest canary(52.0.2725.0) while dragging the file(.txt and .mp4) to attach into the email. But the issue is very inconsistent to provide a reliable bisect result. There was no crash id generated for this hang.

Marking this Untriaged and labelling accordingly for further investigation.

Related to  issue 497928  possibly?
But different Chrome version: 50.0.2661.75 Channel: stable

This is the higher version of older issue (497928)

successshruthi@: Not sure I understand comment #c3. If you just mean that this is for v50, and  issue 497928  is for v43 then that just means it's an old bug. From what I see this is exactly what is reported in  issue 497928 . I'm inclined to mark as a duplicate, but please elaborate if you feel this is a separate bug.
