@ haas.oliver: Thanks for the feedback, I tried the same as you have shown in the video. Meanwhile I also played some videos in the playlist. I did not see any reloading of Youtube page on tab strip even if I play any thing or if just kept it idle. I am using MAC 10.11.4 Retina Pro. Could you please navigate to Dev-tools >Network> XHR and please see if there are any error reported in the list. If there are no results displayed request you to please hit cmd+r and try again. Please update us with your observations. Thanks.!

Might be a code rendering bug, try resetting your chrome preferences, and then start again.

My first guess is that there's a runaway/rogue extension. Try running the following command from the terminal, exactly as written: /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --user-data-dir=/tmp/h91 This makes a temporary profile in /tmp/h91, which won't have any of your previous extensions, history, etc. Try navigating to youtube and see if your problem persists.

Thanks for the idea - problem exists also.

Fascinating. My next guess is that somehow youtube or a CDN is serving you some improperly behaving javascript. Can you take a trace following the instructions here: https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/trace-event-profiling-tool/recording-tracing-runs and upload the results? Make sure to use a temporary profile, as I indicated in Comment #13.

Netlog shows that the resources are only being fetched once. At 16.5s, the Dashboard Renderer does HTML parsing, etc. and looks like its loading the page. Then at 22s, the page looks like it's going through a layout again, without fetching resources or parsing HTML. Sounds like a youtube bug. rgustafson: Any idea who I should forward this to?

Anyone of you changed something? Now it is so: Site loads, after 1 seconds the circle is moving again and that's it.

I'm not aware of anything on the YouTube side changing to fix this or alter the behavior here. It's possible that a new site release had a side effect of changing this behavior for you, either in the release itself or solving some indirect problem (ie bad cache). Are you saying that the current behavior is that the circle starts moving after a second and then stops, or it continues moving? If it's stopping, then I assume that is just some delay-loaded content and it's fine.
