Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Configure Synergy as a client on the Linux machine and connect it to some server. 2. From the Synergy server machine, launch Chrome on the Synergy client. 3. Make sure Chrome isn't using the system borders. 4. Move Chrome's window. 5. Observe gnome-shell crash. What is the expected behavior? Gnome-shell doesn't crash. What went wrong? When chrome is moved from Synergy, gnome-shell crashes. It's able to recover a few times but will die if repeated. The only occurs when using chrome own window frame implementation, moving the window using the native frame works as expected. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 49.0.2623.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 3.16.0-4-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.8.4 (Debian 4.8.4-1) ) # 1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u1 (2015-12-14) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 Environment: Server: - Synergy 1.7.6 - OS X Yosemite Client: - Synergy 1.7.6 - Chrome 47.0.2526.106 (64-bit) & 49.0.2623.112 (64-bit) - Linux version 3.16.0-4-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.8.4 (Debian 4.8.4-1) ) # 1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u1 (2015-12-14) GNOME Shell 3.14.4 - Moving Chrome's window with the physical mouse while Synergy is up doesn't cause the crash. - I have reproduced this on both my workstations at home and work. Clients are running a similarly updated Debian 8 and the server is the same laptop. - The issue might happen on other desktop environment but haven't tested.
