Chrome keeps "resizing" when alt-tabing from a fullscreen game

Reported by ptxvisi...@gmail.com, Apr 14 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.112 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Have Google Chrome on fullscreen
2.Go into a game on fullscreen mode
3.Alt-tab back to Google Chrome
4.Google Chrome browser is still in fullscreen mode, but not completely.

What is the expected behavior?
Google Chrome browser still on fullscreen after alt-tabbing from a fullscreen game.

What went wrong?

Google Chrome browser doesn't fully go on fullscreen after alt-tabbing from a fullscreen game, you can fix it back to normal by clicking restore and then fullscreen again, but it'll come back if you alt-tab from a fullscreen game again.

Did this work before? Yes 1/2 months ago

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.112 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

I was suggested by a Google community manager to post this here since it was most likely a bug, so I'll just post exactly what I typed in the Google support forum:

It's not exactly resizing, I think it still is in fullscreen but looks resized.

It's annoying because I alt-tab in game a lot, it happens in every fullscreen game and on the Chrome window only, I tried Mozilla and IE, normal windows, Steam and many more, those were kept fullscreen and didn't resize.

It's not a big deal at first but after some time it gets annoying, since I have to double click everytime to restore and then to fullscreen the Chrome window.

I cleaned my history, cookies, data, images and cache, everything in the options I cleaned up, restarted, but didn't change a thing.

I also tried using CCleaner on chrome, also nothing.

Unninstalling chrome and reinstalling doesn't fix the problem either.

Just only use the "Fun Stuff" like gameplay on a separate window.
