Issue descriptionChrome Version: 51.0.2704.7 Revision a8bebc2b0cd3e3018b7c9f6ac698f04dd226abba-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#48}(32/64 bit) OS: All(Win-7 Aero Enabled) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome,navigate to https://www.drupal.org/search/site (2) Enter text in serach field and press Enter, then select any option from Sort by drop down. (3) Observe below the drop down list. Blink of 'Search' text is seen after selecting option from drop down list. No such blink of 'Search' text should seen after selecting option from drop down list. This is a non-regression issue, seen from M-30(30.0.1549) Note: Issue is not seen on other browser i.e. Mozilla Firefox.

Quick look at a trace and it looks like setTimeout is probably used to update the style. I think this may be working as intended.
