Regression: Unwanted dot is seen in 'Month' drop-down list of Sign-in overlay.

Reported by jshan...@etouch.net, Apr 14 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version: 51.0.2704.7 a8bebc2b0cd3e3018b7c9f6ac698f04dd226abba-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#48} 64 bit
OS: Linux

Precondition: Enable 'new gaia password-separated sign in flow' flag from 'chrome://flags'.

1. Launch Chrome, navigate to chrome://settings and then click on 'Sign in to chrome' button
2. Click on 'More options', select 'Create new account' and enter First and Last name.
3. Click on 'Next' button, now click on Month drop-down list and observe.

Actual: Unwanted dot is seen after every month text like 'Jan.'

Expected: No dot should be seen after every month text.

This is a regression issue broken in M-51, will soon update bisect info.

Good build: 51.0.2699.0

Bad build: 51.0.2700.0

Note: This issue is not seen on other OS like Mac and Windows

Verified the issue on Latest Stable# 51.0.2704.7 on Ubuntu 14.04 and could not reproduce the issue. No dot is seen adjacent to the month in the drop down.
Adding a screenshot for reference.
Thank You.

Unable to reproduce this on the latest M-52(52.0.2743.3) and M-51(51.0.2704.54) on Linux Ubuntu 14.04.

jshanbal@: Could you please check this on the latest and confirm if the issue is still seen?

This is a server-side page that Chrome displays, so this bug would be on Gaia.

+ewald@ is this something we want fixed?

Comment 8 by ew...@chromium.org, May 31 2016

I assume there's a reason they have chosen to put the dot after all the month names (maybe l10n reasons?). This is really their decision, so I'm not going to force the issue.
