Regression:Header options of pdf viewer extensions are not displayed for open pdf in pdfobject.com/static.html

Chrome Version: 51.0.2704.7 (Official Build) a8bebc2b0cd3e3018b7c9f6ac698f04dd226abba-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#48} 32/64 Bit.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Launch chrome,navigate to above url and click on 'ADD TO CHROME'.
2.Navigate to http://pdfobject.com/static.html , hover mouse on object,embed file etc and observe pdf options.

Actual: All pdf options like presentation mode are not displayed after adding pdf-viewer extension.

Expected: All pdf options should be displayed after adding pdf-viewer extension.

This is a regression issue broken in 'M51' and will soon update other info

No way r378923 is the cause, it's just disabling a test!

Looking at the actual/expected videos, I'm not even sure if this is a regression. It could be that the behavior was intentionally changed.

thestig@ or rdevlin.cronin@ do you know who can confirm this?

By the way the behavior described in this bug is what I can see now on Chrome M49 on Linux.

I see the following console message in Chrome 52.0.2712.0

Uncaught InvalidStateError: Failed to execute 'createShadowRoot' on 'Element': Shadow root cannot be created on a host which already hosts an user-agent shadow tree.

This is caused by 3a686f1ed8e775db80511c61672f63685361387f, and intentional behavior from Chrome's end (since 51).

Thanks for making me aware of this, I'll publish a new extension before Chrome 51 hits stable -
