UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. try to press and drag the mouse on the text selecting 3 letters of the word, then 4.
3. Try to hover <select> options.

What is the expected behavior?
Every letter can be selected
And every option in <select> should be indicated as hovered.

What went wrong?
Selection jumps through even letters and shows selection only when reaches every odd letter. So it's impossible to send exact part of the text.

<select> options indicates hover only for the even options. and not indicates odd.
Very annoying.
