Add gpu test mac minis to IP KVM (raritan) |
||||
Issue descriptionI'm trying to test whether we can use swarming for Mac GPU power tests that we want to bring up: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FVwxT21R4p2EffmSlKtnOqfO_UE0VSKF-fvYUgtp08o/edit# To do so, I want to manually run some tests on Mac minis in the swarming pool. They need to satisfy the following conditions: """ Supports Intel Power Gadget API (2nd Generation Intel Core processor or later) Not running in a VM. Has an integrated Intel GPU, and no discrete GPU. Attached to a real display. [Cannot be headless] """ Attaching the mac minis to the raritan should do the trick. Before I run send this off to infra labs, I want to determine exactly which bots I want hooked up. kbr: Is every bot with dimensions "gpu:8086:0a2e" a mac mini used by the gpu tests? Specifically: [build192-m4 through build223-m4], and build 182-m1.

All Minis are connected to KVMs, it's the only way we can remotely manage them.

What is the address of the KVM? Will I be able to access them with the same instructions from: https://sites.google.com/a/google.com/client3d/documents/chrome-internal-gpu-pixel-wrangling-instructions under "Console Access via the IP KVM" ?

dba@: thanks for that clarification -- I thought the Minis were solely administered over VNC.
