RTCPeerConnections are expensive in terms of resources (e.g., number of threads).
There has been a significant number of crashes due to excessive resource usage where RTCPeerConnections have not been garbage collected.
It seems that RTCPeerConnections are being leaked in some cases where they shouldn't.
