Dropdown Bookmarks Have Super Bold Text

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2707.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Have more bookmarks than the tab can fill so they go to a dropdown menu.

What is the expected behavior?
The text appears non-bold and normal. 

What went wrong?
Text is super bold and hard to read, yesterday this was not a thing. This issue happened in under 24 hours. 

Did this work before? Yes 24 hours ago. 

Chrome version: 52.0.2707.0  Channel: canary
OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

This is only a thing in Canary and it was never an issue. A google search does not find this error.

I would like to add that about a month ago Adblock had a popup that asked me to accept new "changes" to the app which would include viewing my browsing data among other things, but it never asked me on my normal Google Chrome version. So something is just weird with Canary as it is.

apologies for commenting again but i forgot to add that hovering over the bookmarked link will remove the excessive bolding on the text, as long as you hover over it.

You are probably looking for a change made after 386800 (known good), but no later than 386805 (first known bad).
