Modifying text on text boxes and issuing a new search can make find word go out of range, both positive (15 of 14) or negative (-10 of 2) etc.
I manage to this on at least two places, gmail and an internal Google tool.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Start a new email on gmail.
(2) Type a random word two times.
(3) ctrl+f to first ocurrence.
(4) Modify last ocurrence.
(5) Search for next word.
What is the expected result?
1 of 1
What happens instead?
2 of 1
After getting to 2 of 1, if you search backwards it will to negative infinity.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
