JP Charactes on Youtube incorrect

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.112 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to youtube
2. look for a video with japanese characters
3. Japanese character noew replaced with "?" blocks

What is the expected behavior?
Japaese character appear as "?" blocks, but only on youtube

What went wrong?
Japanese character used to appear fine in the video title. now they're "?" blocks. The only happens on youtube

Did this work before? Yes about 2 or 3 weeks ago

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.112  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.4
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

this is really annoying

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, Mac 10.10.5, Ubuntu 14.04 using 49.0.2623.112, latest canary 52.0.2707.0 as per steps in comment #0.

Please find attached screencast.

Unable to reproduce the issue on latest Chrome Stable i.e., 50.0.2661.87 and 50.0.2661.86 on Windows 7/10 and Mac 10_11 respectively.

 yukikazerailgunva@ can you please update to latest Chrome stable and let us know if you still see the issue.
