It's not me - I can still reproduce the issue with my change reverted. THere's not much else to choose from in that bisect. Can you try it again? Can you try it with my change reverted?

With response to comment #2: Re-bisected on other machine, getting the same bisect info. https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/f501c58425cbab94a2f1004f20102353665da37c..62ad5a8fc17197b1383df48afa0dda9654202d3f?pretty=fuller&n=100 Suspecting: 384520 ? Please help to re-assign if your change is not the cause of this issue.

Cc'ing thestig@ for more inputs on this.

It's not 384520, I can't see how accessibility code could possibly be involved in this bug. 384518 really looks like the most likely. Please double-check one more time with this change reverted.

I agree my change looks suspicious. I checked again and the issue is still there with my CL reverted. I'll take a closer look all the same.

I think this is a problem with the page, it's setting a new min-height on the elements containing the images depending on the minimum width of the media.
@media (max-width:900px){
.nav-hero{min-height:100px}
}
This was depending on a behaviour in blink that must have gone away, or the assumption of the effect a min-height of 100px would have on media with a max-width of 900px was brittle.
I've attached a still-slightly-hairy reduction.

It sounds what we really want is for the web master to fix the page then? Do we believe Blink is doing the right thing?

I no longer work on the web team that maintain these pages. If this is a chrome.com website bug we'll need to file an issue using the internal bug tracker with the web team. I'll do this and close this bug. Bug for 38409992 for Googlers who want to follow it.
