Regression: Weird blink of black patch is observed while closing the switch person overlay.

Issue description

Chrome Version: 52.0.2705.0 (Official Build) fefaf92686d3786bd74fbda74d7dff3ca2f49e3e-refs/heads/master@{#386318} 32/64 Bit.
OS: Windows 10

Steps:
1. Launch chrome and navigate to a new tab page.
2. Click on Profile management icon >> Switch person
3. Close the 'Switch person' overlay and observe.

Actual: Weird blink of black patch is observed while closing the switch person overlay.

Expected: No such black patch should be seen while closing the overlay.

This is a regression issue broken in M-50.

Manual Regression Range:
Good Build: 50.0.2625.0
Bad Build: 50.0.2626.0

Note: This is windows 10 specific issue not reproducible on Mac, Linux, Win 7 and Win 8.

Yeah, unfortunately there seems to be a bug in Windows where hiding a window causes any DirectComposition contents it has to disappear when the hide animation starts, so it remains black while the animation happens. This doesn't seem to happen if the animation is caused by the window being destroyed.

There doesn't seem to be a huge amount we can do about this. Maybe disabling the window transition animation would be better than the current state.
