Same here. Chrome freezes for a few seconds, before it works again.

Alex, any thoughts on who should take a look at this?

I'm currently unable to repro after a few minutes of browsing on Chrome Beta 50.0.2661.0, Android N.  A video of the symptoms might help, and also an exact Android 6-letter version code that I could try flashing to.

MXC14G definitely exhibits this issue. Have now flashed the later factory image will post results of that if/when ibsee the problem.

Chrome 49 is where I saw the problem.

Problem still exists on M5C14J (April 1st secuirty update for pixel C)

Also when it unfreezes, which took over 15 seconds, touchscreen inputs during the freeze seemed to be actioned,  I tried zoom in and zoom out gestures whilst frozen, when it came back to life, the zoom gestures were performed.  Don't know if this helps working out were the problem is.

This hopefully might rule out page content causing the hang.

Still an issue in chrome 50

I am also seeing this with 2 pixel C devices I have.  Here is a url that seems to always freeze the scrolling.  Just scroll to the bottom and it will hang and you can no longer scorll, but you can click on links.  Clicking on another chrome tab then going back to this page won't unlock the freeze which normall works on other pages that are frozen.  On other pages that the scroll freezes/locks, you can click on a chrome tab then back to the locked page and it will scroll again, and I can also swipe down from the top of the screen to show the notification window and that also will unlock the freeze, but neither of these methods work to unfreeze this page once frozen.

Refreshing does fix the issue briefly.  This isn't an issue with my Nexus 6P.

One clarification to the URL above.  It appears to freeze when the table grid is shown.  I also tried this with chrome beta and chrome dev and it behaves the exact same; freezing scroll.

This page also freezes on Firefox, so it is likely an android issue.

I don't think this is the safe issue. The freeze is not as severe, and only seems to freeze of you try and scroll within the table, scrolling at the side of the page is OK

yep, you are correct.  You can scroll at the side of the page, so this isn't consistently reproducable on any page at this point; it just randomly happens.

I am running the N 2 Apr 2016 build with the stable Chrome 51.0.2693.2 (Official Build) (32-bit) and this page just froze while scrolling, as I was looking for solutions to the freeze... 
It was hiding the tabs and using the swipe down to display the menu and then tabs unfroze Chrome. 

This happens to me all the time with MM and Android N to it has been a long time and this have not been fix.

Happened also on my Pixel C under Android N.
However, after the last update to Build/NPD35K, Chrome version 51.0.2704.36, a few days ago, no scrolling issues anymore.  

I also have this problem. Chrome 'hangs' when scrolling and when I click on another tab or for example on a chathead of Messenger, it is OK. Than it scrolls again. 

Issue has not been modified or commented on in the last 365 days, please re-open or file a new bug if this is still an issue.
