Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox:
IE:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Login in with gmail in chrome , Enter gmail credentials and hit enter
(2)The mail opens in a new window .
(3)
What is the expected result?
A new window should not open .
What happens instead?
A window opens .
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

As mentioned earlier , Issue occurs intermittently . So keep trying . I tried it and it occurs intermittently .

Unable to reproduce the issue on MAC 10.11.4 for chrome stable version 50.0.2661.94 Could you please replicate the same in a new profile where there are no apps/extensions and see if the issue still exists. You can create a new profile from chrome://settings
