Chrome will not play sound through my MOTU Audio Express audio interface

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.112 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://www.youtube.com/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Select MOTU Main Out 1-2 as default playback device in place of laptop speakers 2. Open Chrome 3. Open YouTube 4. Play a video What is the expected behavior? Expected to play audio on the videos. What went wrong? Video will play, but no Chrome browser audio will play when running through the interface. Did this work before? No Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 49.0.2623.112 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 I have updated all drivers and and firmware on the audio interface. I also tried re-installing Chrome to no avail.

All I can think of at this stage is to ask for a screen shot of the audio settings for this device. And possibly results for the Audio tab at chrome://media-internals/ which lists active audio output streams.

no response from bug opener for > 3 weeks. There is no necessary device from our side to repro this bug. close it. |
