More observation:- After signing out of the multiprofile user . There was a warning message on one of the user account with password change warning( even when there was no password change ) . Took to the GAIA screen. Entered the right password on GAIA screen but could not login to that account.Error displayed as it was not the right password. Later I deleted that user account and re-added on the device. I could re-login with the same password and now the above mentioned bug is no more reproducible.

The issue seems the same as Issue 602807 , and a fix is in the review process: https://codereview.chromium.org/1880923003/. However, I don't know why you can see the password change warning, this part sounds like a different issue. Did you change your password on another device? +xiyuan@ for thoughts.
