Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.110 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/with_input_external.html Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open link http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/with_input_external.html 2. You will see start animation, but it should not be 3. You can press f5 to reproduce again What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? If i have any input (any type) tag and external linked style css file in HTML, it works incorrect. ( example: http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/with_input_external.html ) If i have any input tag and internal style in header, it works correctly. Also if i have no input tags on page but i have external linked CSS style or internal style in header, it also works correctly Examples: http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/with_input_internal.html http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/without_input_external.html http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/without_input_internal.html Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 49.0.2623.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 Hope you will fix it shortly

Thanks for the report.. Able to reproduce the issue using http://lelouch.ru/bugs/transition/with_input_external.html on Win7, Mac OS X 10.11.4, Ubuntu 14.04 using Chrome Stable 50.0.2661.102, Beta 51.0.2704.47, Dev 52.0.2729.3 and Canary 52.0.2737.0 Not a regression, seeing some transition issue from M30 # 30.0.1549.0 (Official Build 208818) attached screencast for reference, please check and let us know if more information is required.

This is similar to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=398878 The elements' styles may be computed before the style sheet loads. They are computed again when the style sheet loads, triggering the transition. The problem can be avoiding using some JavaScript. Only enable the transition after the the style sheet has loaded and its styles have taken effect. .running .transitionTest { transition: 2s; } document.querySelector('link').onload = function() { getComputedStyle(document.body); // or document.body.offsetHeight; document.body.classList.add('running'); }; |
