Security: for GMAIL

Reported by pateluts...@gmail.com, Apr 5 2016

Issue description

My bug is regarding GMAIL account . If we login to our gmail account and if we power off our PC directly or we may face sudden electricity power off , then while switching on the PC for next time loads all the chrome web pages that were previously signed in. This is a real bug where we may face problems in cyber cafe or schools or colleges or bank or any security base or a place where one PC is been used upon by number of users.

It may create problem if that PC of cybercafe or any security company gets into wrong hands because the user had to logout but it could not logout dur to sudden electricity poweroff. This is a very important bug which is too much harmful in a lot number of cases.

In this cases drive may be harmed and other many credit cards and all many important details of the whole account can be hacked upon without any effort.

Worst case of this may lead up to many many disastrous situations leading access to bank account and other security purposes.

When you sign in to Gmail, there is a checkbox to indicate whether you wish to "Stay signed in". Unchecking this box should result in a short session expiry time.

In any case, there isn't really anything for a browser to do with this behavior, it is specific to the website and how they manage sessions. Other than the Chrome Sign-in feature (which you should not use from a public terminal), the concept of logged in sessions are opaque to the browser, which only sees cookies without necessarily knowing what purpose they serve.

Yeah it was Mozilla Firefox browser but can't Gmail give such preferences that in case of sudden powrroff you get logged out automatically.
