Find-in-page highlighting bug

Version: 51.0.2700.0 (64-bit)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Navigate to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog
(2) Hit Ctrl+f and search for "dog".
(3) Hold down <enter> to keep searching.

As the active matches are traversed, I am seeing some of the orange highlighting left behind (see attached image).
