(1) Download a file using Chrome. I'm unable to reproduce the download panel becoming completely dark, but I noticed that it became slightly darker after fullscreen. Are you using any themes for this?

Also, does this issue also occurs if you use the normal browser fullscreen?

Download panel went dark if I use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Command+F to go FullScreen I am using default theme. Reset Default theme button is greyed out for me.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, Mac 10.11.5, Ubuntu 14.04 using latest beta 53.0.2785.34, canary 54.0.2813.0 as per steps in comment #0. Please find the attached screencast. spqchan@Could you please check the issue on M-53 and change the status accordingly.

This bug only appears on Mac and it's not 100% reproducible. The screencast you showed as on Windows. Anyway, I just merged my change so it should fix things.
