There is lots of UMA instrumentation in Chrome, but it doesn't show up in stdout, correctly interleaved with regular logging. It would be really useful to treat these as DVLOG statements, with a regexp to filter out the ones of interest.

Would this basically involve adding a DVLOG in the UMA macros?
