Thumbnail tooltip in NTP is seen in English on changing browser language to Hindi.

Issue descriptionVersion: 51.0.2699.0 (Official Build) canary ced319c78e3f9acc95394d81cc6763ed9a9e8371-refs/heads/master@{#384828} (32/64-bit) OS: Windows (Win 7-Aero enabled) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1) Launch chrome, go to chrome://settings, from Language section, change the browser language to 'Hindi'. 2) Restart the browser using chrome://restart and then open a New Tab page. 3) Mouse hover on any thumbnail and observe the tooltip. On mouse hover, tooltip is not seen in Hindi language. On mouse hover, tooltip should be seen in Hindi language. This is because the remote Google NTP uses the Google homepage language rather than the Chrome UI language. It'll go away once we launch the local Google NTP (aiming for M65).

WontFixing per comment 15: For now, this is working as designed (NTP uses the same language as the Google homepage), and the local NTP will fix this in M65 or M66. |
