Duplicating tab does not duplicating the "Mute tab" state

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Mute one tab 2. Duplicate it What is the expected behavior? Both of the tabs to be muted. What went wrong? The mute state isnt copied. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 15.10 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

when a pinned tab is muted and you re-open your browser, maybe the mute state should be saved too?

Per comment #5, we are getting rid of tab muting and moving to a site muting behavior. Thus, a site will always be muted. While not all mute tab cases will be covered, site muting better captures what users are using mute tab for. Given that we are going with a different approach, I am going to close this bug as won't fix. |
