After updating to chrome toVersion 49.0.2623.111 (64-bit), ram stays all used up when video files are browsed.

Reported by pcipr...@gmail.com, Apr 2 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 7834.66.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.111 Safari/537.36
Platform: Platform	7834.66.0 (Official Build) stable-channel falco

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I updated my HP chrome laptop to Version 49.0.2623.111 (64-bit) on stable channel after receiving automatic updates. But after updating, the computer developed an error showing all ram used up and no available ram whenever I open files browser and navigate to a folder containing video files (.mp4, .mkv, etc.). I have 4GB ram and it all gets used up to 0.01GB available by this error, and it stays that way until I restart my computer. The above mentioned files browser opened can be the save/open file dialog window OR the files app. The computer becomes lagging and jerky after that.
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
RAM is not all used up and maximum free RAM is available.
The computer performs with lags and jerks.

Did this work before? Yes Before updating to chrome laptop to Version 49.0.2623.95 (64-bit).

Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.111 Channel: stable
OS Version: 7834.66.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

This seems to be a serious error in the update as this had never happened before the update.

Please tell me how I can correct this problem.

this doesn't seems like video bug, video is not played at all. give to ChromeOS team to triage.

Is this problem still reproducible? We just release M50 to stable.

Also, is this problem reproducible in Guest user?
