placeholder string is rendererd on a wrong baseline

Project Member Reported by toyoshim@chromium.org, Apr 2 2016

Issue description

https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=1#/now

The first attached image shows placeholder string in the google music search box.
The second one shows a string I type in the box.

In the first image, the string lacks lower part because it's shown a little lower place.
In the second image, the string seems to be rendered correctly.

I confirm this problem on Chromebook with Google Music.
Probably I need to make a simple repro case.

It's interesting but I can reproduce this with iOS Chrome that does not use Blink.
Firefox does not have this problem. So this may be a long standing bug from WebKit era.

Please check if this issue is reproducible with v50 or later.

Status: Fixed (was: Untriaged)
I checked the same page with Chrome OS 50, and I confirmed that the problem was fixed.

I'll close this bug. Thanks!
