Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 Example URL: many - see description. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the attached file and click through each of the sites. 2. Middle-click or right click open in new tab to view each of the sites by itself. 3. Note that scrolling through with the mousewheel in the page in an iframe makes the background look a bit like an earthquake - it doesn't scroll smoothly with smooth scroll enabled! What is the expected behavior? It should be completely smooth as in any other browser. What went wrong? Apparently Smooth scrolling in Chrome 49 introduces a major performance regression. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes 48? or 49 with smooth-scrolling turned off in chrome://flags Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: Version 49.0.2623.110 (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202 Any workaround or ETA on a fix for this issue?

I don't see anything particularly wrong with the first two sites on your test page (Avenir and Jova). Can you maybe attach a video? The third site, I notice that the navigation bar is very jumpy. It looks like the same root cause as in issue 581875 . Can you verify that it's fixed in chrome beta?

Funny, the first one doesn't always show that iframe glitch so well. The second one always has the "Get your Quote" section at the bottom jumping, where it is not jumpy when in the page by itself. You can intermittently see background jumping in similar manner in the top one, and in the bottom link especially on attached file.

You are probably not seeing the bug if you're using Chrome beta, it looks fine. :) Too bad this won't be fixed until the week of April 19th, according to this? https://www.chromium.org/developers/calendar
