Rasterization on scale change causing performance issues for maps |

We are going to try to make it buttery smooth again by applying a transition, but to help reproduce this bug beyond next week, here's a demo running a frozen version of the Maps API that won't get this fix: http://www.nointrigue.com/mapsapi/map-simple-frozen.html
