Reset sync does not stop sync |

Issue descriptionVersion: 51.0.2695.1 OS: Android 6.0.1 on Nexus 9 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign in to Chrome and make sure sync is on (2)Go to Manage synced data > Reset sync (3)Click OK to confirm What is the expected output? Sync is off for the account What do you see instead? Sync is still on, observed on chrome://sync-internals page Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Running a build from head (51.0.2700.0) on my android test device (5.1.1), I'm unable to reproduce this issue. Sync turns off with a NOT_MY_BIRTHDAY error. Updating my Android version to 6 to see if that allows me to repro.

Just tried on 6.0.1 Nexus 7, Chrome Beta 50.0.2661.57 and it did not repro. caon@ or askatte@, can you try to reproduce this again today? I know there was a bug on the dev sync server last Friday that, crbug.com/599929 has some information, perhaps this was another side effect.
