Reported by crizzi...@googlemail.com, Mar 31 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version (from the about:version page):
Is this the most recent version:
OS + version:14-04 lts
CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32 bit
Window manager: none server

I rotate my screen with a launched chromium by:
xrandr -o right

I kill chromium by:
killall chromium-browser

The display stays corrupted, launching chromium again remote I get this error:
[13090:13090:0331/114845:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(256)] Gtk: cannot open display: :0

If I rotate chromium back to normal and than kill the session it works fine.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest stable M50-50.0.2661.102 by following steps mentioned below.

1. Opened chrome browser
2. Switched to terminal
3. Typed command xrandr -o right
4. Observed the display completely turned right side
5. Killed chrome completely using pkill chrome
6. Opened chrome back using terminal
7. Observed no error and able to open chrome without any issues.

crizzis@ - Are you still seeing this issue on latest chrome stable M50? Could you please let us know is the above mentioned steps is the right way to reproduce this issue? If not please let us know where it's gone wrong.

Thanks!
