Issue descriptionChrome Version: 51.0.2695.0 723dfe66b1985ff2178590b15d1cc63911300737-refs/heads/master@{#384157} 32/64-bit. OS: All (Win 7 Aero-Enabled) Steps: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to https://www.tripadvisor.in/ , zoom in the web page to 110%. 2. Click on 'Where are you going?' text box and hover the mouse pointer over the options in the dropdown list. 3. Observe under 'Worldwide','Rome','Prague'. Actual: Weird lines are observed. Expected: No such lines should be seen. This is a non-regression issue seen from M-30, build no. 30.0.1549.0 Note : Issue is not seen on other browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Yes, it is a background image snapping bug of some kind, hard to debug because the content is dynamically added. But really, the best fix for these is for developers to put a little space in their sprite sheets. Failure appears on the US Trip Advisor site too, which is where yo are redirected.

I also encountered these weird lines, if the picture displayed was extracted from a CSS sprite. It seems that you need to have a security margin to avoid this behavior.

Fixed by the fixes the background sprite drawing, or at least not manifesting on the current version of the page. |
