Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.102 Safari/537.36 Vivaldi/1.0.434.5 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Try to select 'your' language 2. There are no entries for nl_BE, fr_BE and de_BE What is the expected behavior? That chromium can use ALL available locales even the ones of small insignificant countries like Belgium What went wrong? Can't find any of the Belgian locales in the list Did this work before? No Chrome version: 49.0.2623.102 Channel: stable OS Version: 4.5 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 Why are not all locales available?

Its not only the UI that is important, the accept-language header just can't be set to one of the Belgian locales

Hi Yana, Assigning this as a a request for language expansion for Chrome.

This is a feature request. Marking it as such. At the moment all additional locale request are gated on component updater work.

This is actually less of a language expansion request as the languages in question have all been localized to but a request for relevant locales that can map to nl, fr, and de. Jungshik - similarly to crbug.com/230019 - any complexities we should be aware of when adding these to the list? |
