After creating a new tab, the omnibox is not selected.

To reproduce:
1/ Be on an iPad.
2/ Create a new tab (command-t or command-shift-t)
3/ Start typing a query or a website name

What I expect to happen:
I expect to see what I type appear in the omnibox. This is what happens in Chrome Desktop and on Safari Mobile.

What actually happens:
Nothing happens. To actually enter things in the omnibox, I need to hit "tab" beforehand.
