Issue descriptionChrome version:49.0.2623.110 (Official Build)575538bc320e213510be1e66f3521382e615129d-refs/branch-heads/2623@{#657}(32/64-bit) OS:All(Aero enabled) Test URL:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mainichi/dfekdjmdikicceaiokcmmchenpilglhn?hl=en Precondition: Enable 'Material design in the browser's top chrome' flag from 'chrome://flags'. Steps to reproduce the issue: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to the above URL. 2. Click on "Add to chrome" to apply extension and observe the 'extension icon' near bookmark bar. Actual:Extension icon appears weird. Expected:Extension icon should be proper. this extension provides a 19x19 icon and we have to downscale the icon to fit in 16x16, which unfortunately makes it a solid black circle instead of a circle with white Japanese characters inside. The only reason you can kind of see the characters in the "expected" version is because we were downscaling by a different (generally worse) algorithm at the time. |
