URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari: Not applicable
Firefox: OK
IE: Not applicable
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Start Window Manager (I have tried Gnome Shell and i3wm, with the same result)
(2) Start Chromium
(3) Suspend computer
(4) Wake computer up
(5) Click on a tab (not on the X)
What is the expected result?
The browser should show the tab in case of a left click, or show a menu in case of a right click.
What happens instead?
Both mouse buttons closes the tab immediately.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I have a fully patched, newly (yesterday) installed Ubuntu Gnome 15.10. The issue persists even if I restart Chromium. The only way to make it go away is to do a full computer reboot.

I'm running a (decently) fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10 with Chromium 49.0.2623.108 and can reproduce this behaviour also with a clean profile (Added new person in chrome://settings) I'll try this in a virtualbox tomorrow at the office and see if I can reproduce it there as well.

I tried in VirtualBox with a fresh install like this: Ubuntu 15.10 64-bit * English * Download updates while installing Ubuntu * Erase disk and install Ubuntu * Stockholm timezone * Swedish keyboard * Create one normal user * Restart * Install chromium (sudo apt-get install chromium-browser) * Start chromium and open up a few tabs * Press menu -> suspend However, after this I can not get it to wake up. I've Googled and I've searched through the Virtualbox GUI like a crazy person but can not get it to start. I think I am missing something very basic. Could anyone try reproducing with my above steps? And/or tell how on earth I make a client wake up after suspend in virtualbox. :)

Could someone from Dev team please look into this issue. This is related to Virtual Machine.

Just today I found something that is probably related! In Atom (the editor) I also get something strange after wakup from suspend. When a marker is active in a file, as soon as I move the mouse it selects everything from the marker until the position of the cursor. This specific behaviour happends only in Atom and only after wakeup from suspend, at the same time as the bug with closing tabs.
