[Media Router WebUI] ChromeVox doesn't read focused elements. |
||||
Issue descriptionChromeVox (extension) doesn't do anything when elements are focused (e.g. buttons or sink list items). Other screen readers (e.g. VoiceOver on OSX) work as intended.

Content scripts cannot access shadow DOM in a straight forward fashion, so the ChromeVox team keeps a whitelist for pages to use ChromeVox Next (newer, in progress version) but keeping the current interaction model. This is how pages like downloads can be read out with ChromeVox. I've requested for Media Router to be added to the Next whitelist.
