Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Search some text on google.com from a WebView 2. In the search results long press on one of the images returned at the top of the page in "ALL" tab of the web page. 3. Check if HitTestResult of the page What is the expected behavior? HitsTestResult should be of IMAGE_TYPE What went wrong? HitsTestResult is of UNKNOWN_TYPE Did this work before? No Chrome version: 50.0.2661.35 Channel: stable OS Version: Android L Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Yeah I can repro this. Weird, hit testing logic in blink changed maybe

Looks like specific to google search though. Hit test on images from other sites, so it's possible it's hitting an invisible div or something. But chrome long press is able to interpret it as an image, so there is no reason why this can't work too.

Doesn't appear to be a recent regression either. So scratch that part about blink logic changing.. |
