Developer tools stopped searching for files when in pause / break point

Chrome Version : 49.0.2623.87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Put a break point somewhere in you code
2. press ctrl + shift + f to search for expressions in the source files
3.
What is the expected result?
Show the search
What happens instead of that?
It get stuck at Searching, like the attached file and never ends, unless I unpause the break point. This started happening in the last month or so.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Tried with jsfiddle, but the js files there were too small or to few. Tried with facebook.com and manage to reproduce to bug both in my machine and my co-worker (windows 10 pro also). Attached video.

Unable to repro this issue on Windows 7, 10 [Pro] for Google Chrome Stable Version - 50.0.2661.87 Screen-recording is attached. The problem happens when the breakpoint is triggered and the browser is stopped / paused. 1) Updated Chrome 2) Added a clean profile Problem persists. New recording attached. Fuller Steps to reproduce: 1) Updated Chrome 2) Added a clean profile 3) Entered facebook.com 4) Opened developer tools, pressed crtl + p to search for js files, select one at random 5) Put breakpoint at random 6) Refreshed, and breakpoint triggered, pressed ctrl + shift + f to search, and input any random term. Search Freezes

So as far as we've investigated with @kozy, the getContent() get's stuck for scripts if the debugger is paused, which causes this behavior. @kozy, didn't we have any ideas how to fix this issue?
