chromeos unzip file continuous error |
|||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version : 50.0.2661.32 OS Version: 7978.18.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. From photos.google.com download multiple pictures, which will download as a zip file named Photos.zip. 2. In the file browser, attempt to unzip the file. 3. From the screenshot (see below) you'll get an error "An operation is taking longer than expected. Do you want to abort it?" 4. Try dismissing the issue, and it will pop back up in ten seconds. What is the expected result? I expect either the file to unzip, or an error that states that the file cannot be unzipped. What happens instead of that? After dismissing the error, it comes back after ten seconds, continuously. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. I've been encountering this for a while, and it's very annoying. Almost every large .zip file I open will say it's taking longer than expected, and then freeze. Clicking 'abort' does absolutely nothing. The only way to fix it is to kill the zip unpacker process.
