Regression: Unwanted one line space is seen in console text box of chrome://tracing after hitting enter key.

Issue description

Chrome Version: 51.0.2688.0 (Official Build) df372032b408542d782c18cfc057ed729e46665a-refs/heads/master@{#382748}-32/64 bit
OS: All(Win 7-Aero enabled)

Steps:
1. Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://settings
2. Click on ">>” (chevron) icon to open console text box. 
3. Type some text like 'abc', hit 'Enter' key and observe.

Actual: Cursor appears after one line space i.e cursor is not seen on next line after hitting Enter key

Expected: Cursor should be seen on next line after hitting Enter key.

This is a regression issue broken in M-51, below is bisect info 

Good build: 51.0.2681.0
Bad build: 51.0.2682.0

Narrow bisect:

Still able to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, Mac 10.10.5, Ubuntu 14.04 using 51.0.2692.0.
