Chrome hangs up because of a text box

Issue descriptionChrome Version : 49.0.2623.87 (Oficiálne zostavenie) m (32-bitová verzia) Verzia d177478d466b84ab06f0f48081fc30e3b04be6ca-refs/branch-heads/2623@{#592} Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari: nope, it works Firefox: nope, it works IE: nope, it works What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) open the test file (2) try to search or try to select text from input text box (3) What is the expected result? It should be fast, but it is not. What happens instead? Chrome hangs up for few sec, CPU goes up to 50%. It is unusable. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. If I remember good it was good in older versions. Tested the issue on Windows 7 using 49.0.2623.87, latest canary 51.0.2686.0 with below steps: 1.Opened the given hang.html in chrome. 2.Observed the screen as in screenshot. 3.No video in this link 'http://hopp.mihalko.eu/1pvsX7R'. Please find attached screenshot. mihalko@Could you please provide sample file with actual and expected behavior screencast for further triaging the issue.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win 7 using latest stable 50.0.2661.75 and said there is no video in the above link. Closing this issue as of now, please raise a new issue if you still this issue with a crash Id if its related to crash and the consistent repro steps for the same. |
