App Launcher fail to start despite of 'enable-experimental-app-list' flag Enabled

Reported by pavel.be...@gmail.com, Mar 20 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enable 'enable-experimental-app-list' flag
2. Relaunch Chrome
3. Try to add search Google App Launcher in Dash (ubuntu) - => no result

What is the expected behavior?
Google App Launcher appears in Dash search - I can add it to Unity Launcher.

I was able to work around by running Chrome with --show-app-list, and then sticking the icon to the Unity launcher.

What went wrong?
[19932:19932:0320/123728:ERROR:background_mode_manager_aura.cc(13)] Not implemented reached in virtual void BackgroundModeManager::EnableLaunchOnStartup(bool)
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
[WARNING:flash/platform/pepper/pep_module.cpp(63)] SANDBOXED
couldn't lock 16384 bytes of memory (secret_session): Cannot allocate memory

Did this work before? Yes Before last Chrome update (the flag was then called 'enable-app-list')

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
