the crash logs are not useful because it seems to be a local build. Please use an official build.

Comment 4 by sgu...@chromium.org, Mar 18 2016

i.e. I mean the webview

removing the release block label until we have confirmation with a official webview build.

So breakpad shows the version as 1.0, which we thought would show the package version (which led us to assume this is a local build). We might be running into two bugs here, so will investigate.

Comment 10 by boliu@chromium.org, Mar 18 2016

Hmm, are you sure that's not the breakpad version? :p

go link 403s, and the attachment has already been deleted?

sorry I forgot to share folder, try go/chrome-androidlogs1/5/596164 again

Comment 12 by boliu@chromium.org, Mar 18 2016

Yeah, breakpad says it's webview 51.0.2683.0 at the top of the microdump. The build fingerprint thing I'm assuming is breakpad version.

Seeing the similar crash on Google Play Newsstand and Microsoft Outlook when adding gmail account when talk back ON :
Nexus 9 (NRC77E)
 A.Google Newstand
1.Launch newstand with talkback ON
2.Tap article with web view.
3.SCroll the article
 B. Microsoft outlook
1.Add a account
2.Tap gmail
3.Give the user credentials and tap Sign in

re #12: I might very well be wrong, looking.
ok I was confused by the fact that I could not decode the previous dump, and we thought it was the version number. But the problem was not that, so all things are clear now.
