the background color of the drop down menus is fixed to white which leads to white text on white background with some themes

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. high contrast black themes
2.

What is the expected behavior?
drop down menu background to change based on windows theme

What went wrong?
Everything was fine and I had white text/black background drop down menus until Wendesay. Now i have a white/white drop down menu. Even the right click menu is white/white. It seems that the background color of the drop down menus is fixed to white now, and since i'm using the high contrast black theme where usually the text is white on a black background, i end up with white text on white background since chrome now has a fixed white drop down menu background for me. changing to another theme with white/black solves the issue since the text for those themes is already black. I'd like to keep using my high contrast black if possible so any help would be appreciated.

Unable to repro this issue on Windows 10 [Pro] for Google Chrome Stable Version - 49.0.2623.87

I am having the same issue. I am a windows 7 user with a high contrast theme. Chrome had displayed my bookmarks (and all menus) with a black background and yellow test. On Sunday night (3/20/16) when I started work my bookmarks were white on white. PLEASE fix. This issue makes Chrome unusable.
