Extensions stopped working every time I launch Chrome since adding Dictionary & Wiki extensions

Reported by meni...@gmail.com, Mar 17 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Close Browser
2. Open Browser
3. Extensions stop working (sometimes not all, but Google dictionary & translate nearly always)

What is the expected behavior?
They should all be ready to go like usual

What went wrong?
Extensions don't relaunch. I have the following active extensions:

1. Sidekick
2. Adblocker
3. Wiki lookup
4. Wiki Search
5. Google Dictionary
6. Google Translate
(Some others that I keep disabled and turn on when necessary.)

WebStore page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-dictionary-by-goog/mgijmajocgfcbeboacabfgobmjgjcoja?hl=en

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.9.5
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Since installing #3-6 my extensions turn off seemingly at random, but definitely when I close and open the browser window.

Unable to reproduce the issue for chrome stable 49.0.2623.87 on MAC 10.11.3. Installed all the extensions mentioned. Quit and relaunched chrome. All the extensions are working fine.

@ meniyka: request you to please try a system restart and try again. Please update us with your observations.

Restarting the machine makes no difference. This has been happening every day since I installed the additional (wiki + dictionary) extensions. When I had just adblocker and sidekick I had 0 problems. I turn my machine on fresh every morning anyway. I'm not the only one- I have googled this and seems like thousands of people have the same experience as me...

This person's comment shows up as #1 in search results when I type in "chrome extensions stopped working' They describe exactly what is happening to me.

I have noticed that none of my extensions for Google Chrome are working properly (while they were working before). When I left-click on any of the extension buttons, the menus no longer show up. Whenever I disable all extensions and then enable them again, the extensions start working again (temporarily), but they stop working again as soon as I restart the browser. Also, context menu options for each extension are no longer showing up.

Thanks for the feedback provided. Tried again but was unable to reproduce the issue on MAC 10.11.3 for 49.0.2623.87. Can you please try an over install of chrome without deleting or removing any extensions and please update us.

I'm running 10.9.5 so you are trying to recreate my issue on a different operating system... isn't that kind of testing 101? you need to keep every variable the same? I'm on the most recent updated version of chrome. Anyway, I just uninstalled google dictionary and am using lookup instead. No problems anymore. All of my other extensions have been golden since I uninstalled google dictionary. The bug is with this particular extension I'm 99% sure. Thanks anyway.
