getImageData cause canvas(it's content) to be invisible after few Tab switches

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open http://befzz.github.io/crbug/
2. Switch to other tab and switch back.
3. If black box is visible, repeat #2.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Canvas content invisible!

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.3
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

The same in "Version 51.0.2681.0 canary (64-bit)"

Two manual fixes:
1. Disable "Accelerated 2D canvas" (chrome flags)
2. Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" (Settings)

Able to repro this issue on Windows 7, MAC (10.11.3) & Ubuntu Trusty (14.04) for the Google Chrome Beta Version - 50.0.2661.37

This is a regression issue broken in M50, below mentioned is the bisect info:
