Chrome should implement a firefox about:config page equivalent

Reported by labobol...@gmail.com, Mar 16 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.
There's no about:config equivalent in chrome
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
Allow advanced users access to all settings in chrome via UI.

What went wrong?
No such page!

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 49.0.2623.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

If google really want users to have control. Why do we not have such a settings page yet or an extension API for that matter?

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
This is an intentional design decision, and there are no plans to offer such a setting.
Can you elaborate, please?
Why not allow advanced users this?
